My crazy summer is almost over :(

Wow! what a ridiculously crazy, fun , amazing summer! it feels like i fell asleep in june and i just woke up and it's suddenly august! my summer started off with north star bible camp up in Willow , AK which is about two hours away from where i live. the first camp was called Rightly dividing and it was a small , more intense , work camp for highschoolers , and i had a great time there! then came along Sr. high camp and it was alot different , but still so much fun and good memories! i had to leave friday evening from that camp ( the camp ended saturday morning) to go to a sports camp in WA i was running with my team. my family picked me up , drove me home , i got to bed at about 1 in the morning and had to wake up to go to the airport at 4am because my flight was at 6am. long story short , i was very tired. i got to washington in the late morning and mrs keough picked me up and drove me to the church we were staying at. people started trickling in and i was watching outside for my team to come and i saw somebody frantically waving in a car at me and i was like .. whaaat? and alana pops out and gives me a big hug! i didn't even expect to see her there! apparently her ATL trip got cancelled and she was helping out at this sports camp instead! what a surprise! david got there first and then mikaela! i was so happy to see them again! we started training pretty soon after everybody got there and it was pretty fun. we went to new hope community church with our team of people for our sports camp. then we went and flyered around for a bit. then showers , then we had dinner and did some more training in our specific sports. i got basketball and i was really actually kind of bitter about it , i had wanted soccer or cheer , but i told them i was open to anything and they put me with basketball so i shut my mouth and did it. the sports camp started monday and it went pretty well, i got to be on the song team and i had tons of fun! the next day went pretty great as well , wednesday jonathan finally showed up! it was great to see him again! i had to tell the sports story that day and i was really scared , but with God's help i did it! and i was amazed at myself , i used to run away crying when i was talking in front of people , now i'm smiling and not even caring about doing it , God is really stretching me. thursday was absolutely incredible! i got to do the evangecube and one of the kids accepted christ and then later i got to pray with rebecca and she accepted christ , and that totally made me understand why i was doing basketball in the first place , why God wanted me in that sport.:) that was a really emotional time for me. friday was super sad , all my friends had to leave. which meant my team and i was just crushed. i almost cried when they left. me and alana stayed at the velasquezes that night and i felt like puking that night.. but i didn't. the next morning bryan and joseph drove me to the airport. so that was pretty much the first 3 weeks of my summer. i'll continue it in my next post.. i have alot to say .
