times at rightly dividing..

Rightly Dividing , Day 3 , June 9 , 09
I wake at like 8:15 and breakfast is at 8:30 , so we really had to rush! chapel was really fun today! robin led it and it was alot easier to listen to than mark. us girls watered the flowers , cleaned up the fire pit , and tidied up the boat shack. after lunch we went to the rifle range but i refused to shoot the gun . then we had snack shack and after that quiet time! then lake time and that was so much fun! i took a shower and was late for dinner. after chapel we played soccer , and i suck at it! i felt like i let my team down . anywho we ate a snack and now we're watching ratatoullie! awesome movie!!! Today was a super long day , i don't know where to start! so a pastor from faith bible was preaching after breakfast and he kind of scared me. i almost fell asleep during chapel. then we did a tiny bit of work , went in for lunch , then had another session of chapel! this was a different guy who made hilarious expressions , he went on for like 2 hours talking to us. we went canoeing for 'train it' and it was fun! we also practiced witnessing by doing it to the counselors. we're gonna go to a public place and witness tommorrow! i'm scared , but i've done it before enough to know that God's gonna take care of my fear. we had some quiet time , then lake time was fun again. we had a 'hobo' dinner , we cooked our food in the fire , we hung out for awhile down there.. now we're in bed!

Busy , Busy Bee! yep! that's me!

This summer has been SO AMAZING!
I'm gonna tell you all about it in sections of weeks!
So i'll start with Week #1!
Rightly Dividing , Day 1 , June 7th 09
Well , the ride here it seemed SO incredibly short , maybe because i was excited! we stopped at this place that had a double decker bus and took pictures! that was SO MUCH FUN! we got there , hung out a bit , played frisbee , ate dinner , did worship ( which is amazing!)then played telephone pictionary which is a crazy fun game! my counselors are marisa and sarah and they are awessoooome! the guys are bryan and jeff and they're from CA , they're pretty cool! Jeff plays drums and Bryan plays guitar. we're gonna be studying this book called "do hard things" by alex and brett harris. i'm really excited!
Rightly Dividing , Day 2 , June 8th 09
Today started out with sunshine! i woke up at 6:30am from paige coughing and tried & failed at going back to sleep! so i talked with whoever was awake for awhile. we headed up to breakfast about 8 and got a mini-devo from mark. then we had some delicious breakfast! after breakfast we did some worship , then did our study . mark talked to us about the devil and his scheming ways! it was a really good talk. we did an 'apply it' session afterwards about what we had read in the book so far and it was good. then we were off to work! us girls planted flowers around the camp and it was alot of fun! after lunch we did a 'train it' session and we all took a food worker card test online and i passed with 1 question wrong out of 20! huzzah! we worked a bit more after that and leann's sister and jana showed up so she went and hung out with them while we finished up the work. we had snack shack , and then quiet time where we all read our books. then we had lake time and it was alot of fun , i just had troubles getting onto the water trampoline! dinner , then chapel , then we played some games outside and then had a delish snack and hung out in the lodge until like 11:15! it was a fun daaay! to be continued..
